"Behind this line is fine" is the message plastered all over trainstations in brisbane (i assume australia and the world)

this one was taken at my parents local train station, my brother is visible in the background and some random poeple too.

Safety from death and hurt in the form of an arbitrary line on the ground. Such are these boundaries ingrained in our society to protect us from harm:

A line is just a mark in the sand.

Today, more than ever before, life must be characterized by a sense of Universal responsibility, not only nation to nation and human to human, but also human to other forms of life.

indeed, as you know i was in a bit of a philosophical and rebellious stage here :D. the concepts of imaginary boundaries still fascinate me i suppose (for example the new yellow line next to the road outside of central station) but i no longer feel the need to deliberately flaunt them ;)

So you've put down your weapons and picked up a woman?

But seriously, it was an interesting stage for us all. Often you'd be pushing your theories upon the powers that be to no end and we'd all be like "where's James?". Then we realised he was still there, we just had to listen more closely to what you were saying and we'd see the same caring and intelligent guy we knew from school.

People change and you just happened to have the most noticealbe change of all (I think).
